The 32 mm system is the grid the whole European frameless cabinet rests on: two columns of Ø5 mm holes spaced 32 mm apart vertically, set 37 mm in from the front and back edges of the side panel. Hinges, mounting plates, shelf pins and drawer slides all land on that same grid.
The 32 mm pitch comes from factory line-boring machines, whose chucks cannot be set closer together. All cabinet hardware then aligned itself to it: a 32 mm pitch means a hinge bought from one maker fits holes drilled for another.
The 37 mm is the distance from the front edge of the side panel to the centre of the first column. That figure does not come from the grid but from the hardware: it is where the hinge plate screws down. It is constant; it is the pitch that repeats, not the edge distance.
The Ø5 hole columns on the side panels, at blind depth — a through hole would show on the outside of the cabinet. The dados and rabbets that house the bottom, the top and the back. And, as you choose, the assembly holes: confirmat screws, Minifix cam locks with their Ø15 and Ø8 dowel bore, or dowels alone.
The Ø35 hinge cup is bored in the front, not the side panel, 12.5 mm deep and at an edge distance that depends on the overlay you want. The generator reads that figure — the K distance — from the hinge reference you picked.
The holes for wall hanging brackets and branded accessories, whose centres vary from one reference to the next. The generator reserves their space and flags the operation rather than inventing dimensions a cabinetmaker would find wrong at assembly.
