Under a sink, the bowl drops into the space a drawer would use. So this 800 mm cabinet replaces the solid top with two stretchers, adds a fixed 140 mm front that the bowl passes behind, and cuts a 300 × 260 mm opening in the back for the waste and the supplies.
On its own this cabinet uses only 15 % of the 3 sheets it consumes. That is normal, and it is why the app nests the whole job in one go: one carcass's offcuts take the small parts of the others.
A solid top under a sink makes no sense: the bowl would occupy it. Two stretchers are enough to square the carcass and to take the worktop fixings, and they leave the whole volume to the bowl.
The fixed 140 mm front gives the cabinet the look of a drawer that is not there, which lines its face up with the cabinets on either side. Without it, the sink base is visible from across the room.
The plumbing opening sits at the back right, 430 mm from the edge and 220 mm up, at 300 × 260 mm — the usual layout for a trap and two isolating valves. It comes out in the back panel's own outline, not with a hole saw on site.
The position is adjustable. What matters is that it is decided at the drawing, where it costs a dimension, rather than in the client's kitchen, where it costs a panel.
A full drawer, no: the bowl drops 180 to 200 mm below the worktop. A U-shaped drawer notched around the trap is possible, but it has to be sized on the installed bowl and falls outside the parametric model. Cabinet·CNC leaves the bay empty and fits a false front.
800 mm minimum, 900 to be comfortable. A standard double bowl is 800 mm overall, and its rim has to land on the worktop either side of the cabinet, not on the side panels.
